Kyrgyzstan to buy ten solar stations for low-income families

The Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan plans to purchase ten solar stations for low-income families. The corresponding announcement was posted on the public procurement portal.

It is reported that families in Zhaiyl and Chui districts will get five stations each. At least 9.9 million soms are allocated for the purchase from the reserve fund of the Cabinet of Ministers. The solar stations should be installed no later than in mid-summer 2023.

The solar stations are purchased as part of Nur Kubat pilot project. In case of successful implementation, the project will be implemented throughout the country. As of today, 106,700 families receive ui-bulogo komok allowance in Kyrgyzstan.
