Kyrgyzstan ready to cooperate with Tyumen business in light industry

Garment workers of Kyrgyzstan declared their readiness to cooperate with Tyumen business for the development of light industry. Department of Investment Policy and Entrepreneurship of Tyumen Oblast reported.

It is planned to arrange the supply of fabrics and accessories; cooperation in tailoring clothes to individual orders is possible, as well as opening of joint ventures.

Zafarbek Sulaimanov, founder of the Fashion and Textile Association of Kyrgyzstan, said at a meeting with Tyumen businessmen that enterprises of the republic were ready to make outerwear (up to 1,000 pieces) within two weeks. In total, the production chain from the first negotiations to delivery of finished products to the customer’s warehouse takes about a month.

He believes that the association’s employees can act as a link between entrepreneurs of the two countries and are ready to go to the enterprise in the Kyrgyz Republic and control the launch of production, tailoring, and agree on a sample model.

«Development of the light industry in Kyrgyzstan is impressive. There are specialized technoparks that provide a full cycle of raw materials supply and production of finished products. Objectively, the conditions for making finished products are better now in Kyrgyzstan than in Russia. Therefore, cooperation, of course, is very beneficial. During the meeting, we identified several areas in which we can work with their clusters,» Russian businesswoman Elena Sharapova told reporters.
