More than 30 facts of illegal logging have been revealed in Kyrgyzstan for two months. Press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
«At least 32 facts of illegal logging were revealed from December to January. 147 trees were cut down with a total volume of 84.7 cubic meters of wood. The damage amounted to 905,300 soms. Materials on all facts were sent to law enforcement agencies. Investigative actions are carried out to recover damages from violators,» the statement says.
The ministry notes that work to identify violations is carried out jointly with employees of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision.
