More than 3 million soms were allocated for the construction of each house in Batken region. Director of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, Housing and Communal Services Nurtazin Dzhetybaev announced at a meeting of the Committee on Transport, Communications, Architecture and Construction of the Parliament.
At the meeting, the deputies hear a report on measures to restore some settlements that have suffered as a result of Tajikistan’s invasion of Batken region.
According to Nurtazin Dzhetybaev, in total, 420 damaged houses were identified by the interdepartmental commission. Of these, 1 is located in Batken, 315 houses — in Batken region and 104 residential premises — in Leilek district. The State Agency for Architecture, Construction, Housing and Communal Services was registered as the customer for the construction of these houses.
The official specified that 3,315 million soms were provided for the construction of one house. «At least 420 houses are fully financed by the Ministry of Finance. We do not receive external assistance,» he said.
Nurtazin Dzhetybaev added that the construction of social facilities was financed by the World Bank. $10 million has been allocated for this.
