All repair work at Batken airport will be completed by the end of November. Bakytbek Bekbacha uulu, a representative of Manas International Airport OJSC, announced at a meeting of Ishenim parliamentary faction.
According to him, on August 1, civil aviation did not extend the certificate, because the airport did not meet aviation requirements.
«The runway was built in the 1970s- 1980s. The task was to repair the air harbor. A tender for repairs has been held since August 1. Work began on September 3. Due to the events in Batken, the repair was delayed. Patching is over, the first layer has been laid. All work will be completed by the end of November,» Bakytbek Bekbacha uulu said.
