Since the beginning of the year, 103 cases of violence against children have been registered in Bishkek. Vice Mayor of the capital Victoria Mozgacheva told at a press conference.
She noted that more often such facts were revealed in families that found themselves in difficult life situations, these were children left in the care of relatives and others.
«Work with each family is carried out individually, with the involvement of juvenile inspectors, social workers, psychologists and other specialists. If necessary, the child is removed from the family, but, first of all, our work is aimed at getting families out of a difficult situation, at their reunification,» she said.
