Attack on journalist: Second suspect arrested

Another person was detained on suspicion of attacking a journalist Baktursun Zhorobekov. Press service of the Internal Affairs Department of Leninsky district of Bishkek reported.

The detainee is 22-year-old man. The Leninsky District Court of Bishkek placed the suspect in the remand centre 1 for the period of investigation.

Super TV journalist Baktursun Zhorobekov was beaten in October. He associates the attack with his professional activity. According to the victim, earlier unknown persons called the editorial office with threats. The police arrested the suspects a month later.
