Ainura Abalieva has been appointed a new director of the Department of Medicines and Medical Products under the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan. Press center of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to it, Ainura Abalieva has already been introduced to the staff of the department. Previously, she worked as the head of the Department for Examination of Medicines.
The former head of the department Nurdin Kagazdiev wrote a letter of resignation. He was appointed in October 2021.
The State Committee for National Security announced detention of the deputy director of the department and head of department in October. The security services revealed facts of illegal activities of officials of the department and a private company. It turned out that officials illegally re-registered, certified and contributed to import of low-quality medicines into the republic.
