According to him, from July 1, 2022, soft drinks (energy drinks) were subject to excise tax. Receipts amounted to 78.4 million soms. Of the collected amount, 37.1 million soms are excise taxes on manufactured and 41.2 million on imported products.
Meanwhile, Dastan Bekeshev’s colleague Ulan Bakasov advocates a complete ban on the import and sale of energy drinks.
