COVID-19: Emergency situation regime to be lifted from November 1 in Kyrgyzstan

The emergency situation regime due to coronavirus infection will be lifted from November 1 in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Cabinet reported.

The corresponding decision was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov.

«The decision was made in connection with the stabilization of the epidemiological situation on COVID-19 and the continued decline in registered cases of coronavirus infection in Kyrgyzstan,» the statement says.

The emergency situation regime was introduced by government order on March 22, 2020 to ensure safety of the population and take prompt measures to prevent a mass infection. This was also due to the announcement by the World Health Organization of a pandemic of a new coronavirus infection and detection of cases in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, the epidemiological situation on COVID-19 has stabilized in the country. All registered cases of coronavirus infection among citizens are the mild or asymptomatic forms; there are no severe or fatal cases.
