Сost of a compulsory medical insurance policy in Kyrgyzstan will change annually. The Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund (CMIF) informed 24.kg news agency.
About 36,000 compulsory medical insurance policies have been issued for seven months of 2022. Including 32,500 policies were received by pregnant women, 400 — by foreign citizens, and about 3,000 more — by citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Citizens of Kyrgyzstan are issued a policy for 12 months, it costs 1,504 soms. «The cost is calculated according to a formula agreed with the Antimonopoly Committee, based on the minimum consumer basket. Foreigners can purchase a policy for 6 or 12 months. The annual cost for them is 18,105 soms. The calculation is based on the salary of foreign citizens. Pregnant women get the policy free of charge,» the fund explained.
