President Sadyr Japarov congratulated the people of Kyrgyzstan on Komuz Day. Press service of the President reported.
«Our ancient people seemed to be born together with komuz. Komuz and the Kyrgyz are inseparable from each other. It occupies a special place in the traditional culture of the Kyrgyz people. The melody of the magic instrument, merging with the blood and soul of the Kyrgyz, cheered, giving them strength and fortitude,» the message says.
Komuz is an instrument that can explain the inner world of a person, thoughts and the depth of feelings. The sound of the golden string and the voice of the singer will tell about the joys and sorrows of our people.

«Like a breath of a fresh mountain breeze sound the melodies that went down in the history of Kyrgyz musical works, such as «Kambarkan», «Syngan Bugu», «Mash Botoi», «Ergime», «Saadak Kakty», «Ak Bugu», and many others works that still resonate in the hearts of our people,» the President said.
He added that the great famous komuz players, such as Niyazaly, Aidaraaly, Karamoldo, Toktogul, Murataly, Ybyray, Atay, Shekerbek and others, attached special importance to the original culture and made their precious contribution to the heritage of the state.
Sadyr Japarov also named the contemporary melodists — Asanbek Kydyrnazarov «Kyrgyz kochu», Nurak Abdrakhmanov «Son-Kol bayany», Ruslan Zhumabaev «Erke Sary».
We should not forget that the sacred duty of every Kyrgyz citizen is to respect and honor the great heritage of the Kyrgyz — komuz.
The President is confident that Komuz Day will become a traditional holiday, a good event and will find its rightful place in the cultural life of the country.
Komuz Day was for the first time marked in 2019. The day was introduced to consolidate society and strengthen the unity of the people of Kyrgyzstan, as well as to expand the intercultural dialogue of ethnic communities.
