About one hectare of dry grass burned down in the fire that took place the night before in the Gareyev Botanical Garden in Bishkek. Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.
«The fire broke out at 7.35 p.m. The fire brigade of Oktyabrsky district was called to the scene. The fire was extinguished at 8.19 p.m. There are no casualties. Its causes are being investigated,» the ministry said.
It was already the second major fire that occurred in the Botanical Garden in the last month.
