Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov visited the exhibition pavilion dedicated to 5G technology. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
Akylbek Japarov got acquainted with the latest developments in the field of digital technologies, including the 5G technology operation model, virtual reality system, and work of an industrial robot based on the Industrial 5G network. The Prime Minister noted the importance of development of 5G technology in the country.
«We are interested in the soonest development of 5G technology throughout the country, assisting communications service providers in deploying these networks. The relevant state bodies need to carry out serious work in this direction,» he said.
5G technologies will provide high speed data transfer, will have an impact on the development of digitalization of public services and the economy as a whole, optimization of production processes, and improvement of digital solutions in the fields of education and healthcare.
Mobile network operators began testing 5G technologies in Kyrgyzstan in August.
