Committee on Social Policy of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan supported the appointment of Gulnara Baatyrova as a Minister of Health. The relevant committee meeting took place on Monday.
Gulnara Baatyrova’s candidacy is to be approved by the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, State Structure, Judicial, Legal Issues and Regulations.
Decisions of the two committees will be considered at a meeting of Parliament on September 7.
Gulnara Baatyrova was appointed the Acting Minister of Health on September 3. She was the Chairwoman of the Medical Accreditation Commission of the Ministry of Health, was a member of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums and the Chairwoman of Kara-Suu City Council.
