A rally in support of the arrested bloggers Adilet Ali Myktybek (Baltabai) and Yrys Zhekshenaliev was held in Bishkek.

«We appeal to the president and the judiciary. Tomorrow is a holiday, on the eve of which we ask you to let bloggers go. We know very well that the president decides the issues of the judiciary. The judges did not become independent. Adilet Baltabai and Yrys Zhekshenaliev are in prison for exercising their constitutional right to express their opinion. They have been kept behind bars for two months,» one of the protesters said.
Yrys Zhekshenaliev, the administrator of Political Prisoner Facebook page, is charged with calls for active disobedience to the lawful demands of government officials and riots. He was taken to the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and then detained and placed in the remand center 1 in Bishkek.
