President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed a decree on the appointment of an acting Minister of Health. Press service of the head of state reported.
Gulnara Baatyrova became interim head of the Ministry of Health.
Her candidacy will be submitted to the Parliament for appointment to the post of Minister of Health.
Gulnara Baatyrova, a former member of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums (CEC), was the Chairwoman of the Medical Accreditation Commission of the Ministry of Health. She graduated from the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute as a General Practitioner in 1986.
Last week, Sadyr Japarov signed a decree under which Alymkadyr Beishenaliev was relieved of his post as the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic. One of the most scandalous officials in Kyrgyzstan, Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, intended to return to the post of head of the ministry. The criminal case against him was dismissed due to the lack of evidence.
During the investigation, Zharkynbek Kasymbekov performed the duties of the head of the Ministry of Health.
