Kyrgyzstani Denis Petrashov set a new record at the Islamic Solidarity Games.
He swam 100m breaststroke for 1 minute 0.54 seconds. Previous record was set by a Turkish swimmer Demir Atasoy (1 minute 1.39 seconds).
Earlier, Denis Petrashov won two bronze medals in 50 and 200m breaststroke.
The Islamic Solidarity Games are held for the fifth time. In 2021, due to the coronavirus pandemic, they were postponed to August 2022.
