At least 7,795 loans for 4,237.6 billion soms have been granted to farmers since the beginning of the year within the framework of Financing of Agriculture — 10 project. The Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Including 2,762 loans for 1.1 billion soms were provided for crop production, 4,771 loans for 2.3 billion soms — for animal husbandry. In addition, another 262 loans worth 775.8 million soms were received for the processing of agricultural products.
Within the framework of Financing of Agriculture — 10 project it is planned to allocate 520 million soms from the budget. The money is used to subsidize interest rates on agricultural loans in commercial banks. At the same time, clear requirements for concessional lending have been established for commercial banks.
