Regulation on the procedure for selecting innovative initiatives developed in the regions of Kyrgyzstan under the project «40 districts — 40 initiatives» was approved. The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The project was developed on the initiative of the State Agency for Intellectual Property and Innovations. It is aimed at stimulating and promoting innovative projects in priority areas of development of the economy, science and technology for the socio-economic development of the country’s regions.
The selection will be carried out by an interdepartmental commission.
It is assumed that up to eight projects developed under the project «40 districts — 40 initiatives» will be financed from the republican budget. At the same time, a decision was made to allocate up to 1 million soms from the republican budget for the implementation of one selected project.
