Inflationary pressure persists in Kyrgyzstan, and the acceleration of inflation is still of a global nature in the external environment. The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
According to it, price indexes for basic food products have declined slightly in recent months. But at the same time, they remain at a record high level.
«Annual inflation was 13.6 percent in July 2022. Rising prices are registered for all components of inflation. The main pro-inflationary factors in the country are the global increase in food prices and the gradual recovery in demand,» the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic said.
It was earlier predicted that inflation by the end of the year is expected to be at the level of about 15.5 percent, and the average annual inflation will reach 13.8 percent.
