Period of zeroing of customs duty on raw sugar extended for Kyrgyzstan

Special meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission was held in Minsk (Belarus) under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

Six issues were considered. It was decided to establish the rates of import customs duties of the single customs tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union for certain types of agricultural equipment.

The EEC Council also extended the period of zeroing the customs duty on the import of white sugar and raw cane sugar into the territory of Kyrgyzstan until October 31, 2022 inclusive.

Another decision allowed not to equip single vehicles for personal use with in-vehicle emergency call systems/devices.

In addition, the technical regulations of the Customs Union on the safety of wheeled vehicles were approved. They provided that when the deadline for certification of planned control comes in 2022, the relevant body, upon application, has the right to decide to postpone such control for up to 12 months, provided there is a letter from the manufacturer about the invariance of the technological process.

The next meeting of the EEC Council will be held in July in Vitebsk (Belarus).
