Coca-Cola, Sprite and Fanta made in Kyrgyzstan sold in Yekaterinburg

Coca-Cola, Sprite and Fanta bottled drinks, produced at the company’s factories in Kyrgyzstan, appeared in stores of Yekaterinburg city. E1.ru media outlet reports.

«The usual label has an inscription «Klassikalyk» and «Made in Bishkek,» buyers told the news agency. At the same time, the original drinks bottled in Russia are still on sale.

On March 9, the Coca-Cola company, the product line of which includes the brands Sprite, Fanta, Schweppes, Powerade, Bonaqua, Rich, Moya Semya and Dobry, announced suspension of its activities in Russia. On the same day, the media, citing sources, reported that the company did not completely leave the Russian market, but suspended investments in marketing. Later, on May 4, the Coca-Cola Company CEO James Quincey did not rule out a complete withdrawal from the Russian market.

On June 18, Boris Titov, Commissioner for Entrepreneurs’ Rights under the President of the Russian Federation, said that Coca-Cola products could be imported to Russia through parallel imports.
