Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexey Overchuk on the sidelines of the XXV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
«The Russian Federation is one of the main trade partners of the Kyrgyz Republic and takes the first place in terms of trade. In January-March of this year, mutual trade amounted to $573.1 million and increased by 21.4 percent compared to the same period in 2021. We are interested in further expansion of trade, economic and investment cooperation,» Akylbek Japarov said.
He expressed gratitude to the Russian side for providing technical assistance in fiscalization.
Alexey Overchuk noted the interest in further expansion of bilateral partnership in the trade, economic, transport and energy sectors.
The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation and interaction within the integration association.
