The President of Kyrgyzstan signed a decree, appointing Adylbek Kasymaliev the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
MPs considered his candidacy and approved it on Friday. At least 73 deputies voted for, none against.
This post was previously held by Arzybek Kozhoshev. He was appointed the Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure in the Eurasian Economic Commission.
