Aibek Dzhunushaliev was appointed the head of the department for preparing decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Presidential Executive Office. The corresponding decree was signed by the President Sadyr Japarov.
Aibek Dzhunushaliev previously worked as the mayor of Bishkek. He served as the head of the capital for six months — from August 26, 2021 to February 24, 2022.
Then he was appointed the head of the department for monitoring execution of decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Presidential Executive Office. He had worked in this position for less than four months.
