Large fire breaks out at sanitary landfill in Bishkek

Another large fire broke out at the sanitary landfill in Bishkek. A reader told 24.kg news agency.

«Smoke from the fire is visible for several kilometers. The fire is big. Landfill workers are trying to prevent the fire from spreading. Firefighters arrived at the scene,» the reader said.

Fires at the city sanitary landfill occur constantly. One of such fires could not be extinguished for several days in June last year. The City Hall later reported that unknown people set fire to the landfill.
