The 7th International Youth Forum Children of the Commonwealth will be held on the shore of Issyk-Kul lake from June 26 to July 5. Press service of the Secretariat of CIS Council of Inter-Parliamentary Assembly reported.
The International Forum will be held under the motto «Common History — Common Destiny». Participants — students and their mentors from different countries of the CIS — will discuss such topics as identification and preservation of Eurasian and national values, increasing the cultural and educational potential of the CIS, improvement of mutual understanding between representatives of various cultures, spiritual and moral education as a necessary component of education, role of public associations in formation of a socially active life position of young people and others.
Schoolchildren will enjoy sports games, hikes, debates, creative workshops, quests, and musical flash mobs.
The first forum, initiated by the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan, was held in Cholpon-Ata in 2013. In 2021, the Children of the Commonwealth Forum was held in St. Petersburg.
Since the existence of the event, it was attended by over 600 students from nine CIS countries.
The organizers of the forum are the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS and the Parliament.
