Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov visited the Chui Combined Regional Hospital. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
The official met with a Professor, head of the surgical department, Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic Ernst Akramov.
Edil Baisalov visited the surgical, therapeutic and children’s departments, talked with the medical staff, listened to their problems.
Chief Physician Almaz Nazarbek uulu noted the need for major repairs in the hospital building, which was built in 1956.
The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that several hospitals in the country are located in old buildings that do not meet modern requirements. «The Cabinet of Ministers is working on projects for the construction of new multidisciplinary hospitals. All conditions will be created there for the work of medical personnel and treatment of patients,» he assured.
