«This sacred day is forever inscribed in history as a symbol of an unparalleled feat, exceptional stamina and courage of our peoples who saved the world from fascism. I am sure that the glorious traditions of brotherhood and mutual assistance will continue to be a reliable basis for friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. I convey to all the veterans and workers of the home front of the Kyrgyz Republic the words of deep gratitude,» the congratulatory message of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev says.
The leader of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev also sent his congratulations.
«May 9 is a sacred holiday, symbolizing the invincible steadfastness and courage of our peoples, the courageous struggle for peace and freedom, and mutual solidarity. On these days, we remember with great respect our veterans who fought heroically side by side on the battlefield and our fathers and grandfathers who worked selflessly on the home front, and express our endless respect to them. I am convinced that the relations of strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, formed on the basis of close friendship and good neighborliness, will be raised to a completely new level as a result of our high-level meetings and the full implementation of all the agreements reached,» he said.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished Sadyr Japarov good health, family happiness and great success in his responsible state activities, and the friendly Kyrgyz people — prosperity and progress.
President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon said that in the harsh years of the war, the peoples of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan forged this victory shoulder to shoulder on the battlefields and on the home front.
«The bright memory of the glorious feat of our ancestors, accomplished for the sake of peace, freedom and a happy future for future generations, will forever remain in the hearts. I am sure that the relations of friendship and good neighborliness between our states will continue to fruitfully develop in line with the common interests of the parties,» the congratulatory message says.
Russian President Vladimir Putin also congratulated Sadyr Japarov and the people of Kyrgyzstan on Victory Day.
«On this significant day, with boundless gratitude and pride, we recall the exploits of our fathers and grandfathers, who bravely fought against the fascist invaders at the front and selflessly worked on the home front for the common victory.
