The President signed a decree according to which, in compliance with clause 2 part 1 of Article 70 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev was appointed a Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and relieved of previously assigned duties. MPs considered his candidacy for the post of Foreign Minister on April 27. The candidate was supported by 71 deputies.
