Jeenbek Kulubaev appointed new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan

Jeenbek Kulubaev has been appointed an Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Presidential Executive Office reported.

The corresponding decree was signed by the President Sadyr Japarov.

Earlier it was reported that Ruslan Kazakbaev was dismissed from the post of head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with appointment to another position.

Jeenbek Kulubaev was born in 1963 in the village of Chyrpykty, Issyk-Kul region. He has been working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1992. He was the head of the department of the ministry, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Malaysia, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to China, Mongolia and Singapore concurrently, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Kazakhstan and held other positions.

In August 2021, he was appointed the head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Executive Office.
