President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed an order, according to which favorable conditions are created for «digital nomads». Press service of the President reported.
The document was adopted to create favorable conditions and attract modern creative and highly qualified specialists working in the field of information and communication technologies («digital nomads»), investors and entrepreneurs, opening new businesses, development of innovative projects and high-tech industries in Kyrgyzstan.
The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to:
- Develop a simplified registration procedure for foreign nationals qualified in information and communication technologies and engaged in the development of software products, including providing for filing an online application;
- Simplify the procedure for employment of foreign nationals, and to take the necessary measures to organize a unified information web portal to provide advisory assistance to foreign nationals arriving in Kyrgyzstan;
- Work out the issue of creating favorable conditions for attracting foreign companies in the field of information and communication technologies on the site of Bishkek Free Economic Zone and the High Technology Park;
- Simplify the procedure for issuing visas to foreign nationals qualified in the field of information and communication technologies and engaged in the development of software products.
