SCNS reveals facts of manufacturing of flour with fake trademark

The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) revealed facts of mass production and sale of flour at an inflated cost with a fake trademark, imported from neighboring countries. Press center of the state committee reported.

According to its data, wholesale and retail cost of flour produced by importers is about 1,500 soms per 50 kilograms in the local market.

It was found out that the flour with fake trademark «Etalon» was sold in Bishkek and produced at a flour mill in Sokuluk district. It belongs to K.T., who set up the process of production of flour under the fake trademark from imported grain with a zero VAT rate.

More than 200 bags of flour and 7,000 empty containers with labels with a fake trademark «Etalon» on them, prepared for packaging and further sale of about 350 tons of flour, were found during a search of the mill.
