Sadyr Japarov announces increase in foreign investments in Kyrgyzstan

The volume of external investments in Kyrgyzstan for nine months of 2021 increased by 26.4 percent. President Sadyr Japarov said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to him, 43 billion soms have been invested in the country for nine months.

«Bilateral economic forums have been held within the framework of visits to Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Turkmenistan. As a result, the volume of external investments in Kyrgyzstan increased by 26.4 percent, while in the world they decreased by 35 percent,» the President noted.

The head of state said that along with the Kyrgyz-Hungarian, Kyrgyz-Uzbek Development Funds, similar institutions will be created with Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.

Sadyr Japarov holds a cabinet meeting in an open format for the first time. He sums up the results of his work as president and the work of the Cabinet of Ministers.
