Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov met with the first president of Kazakhstan — Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
Akylbek Japarov and Nursultan Nazarbayev discussed a number of issues of bilateral cooperation. Special attention was paid to the trade and economic sphere. In particular, they talked about increasing trade turnover between the two countries.
«Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that the relations between our countries are built on the principles of brotherhood and good neighborliness. During the meeting, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers congratulated Nursultan Nazarbayev and the people of Kazakhstan on the upcoming 30th anniversary of independence of the republic and conveyed greetings and congratulations from the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov,» the statement says.
