Kyrgyzstan has the fastest Internet among the countries of Central Asia. Report by Cable.co.uk says.
According to its data, Kyrgyzstan took the 155th place with a median download speed of a 5 GB file of 7.44 Mbit / sec. The publication specializes in comparing telecommunications providers.
The analysis of broadband Internet speed was conducted in 224 countries within 12 months until June 30, 2021.
Kyrgyzstan has the best indicator among Central Asian countries, followed by Uzbekistan (166th) and Kazakhstan (173rd).
Tajikistan takes the 211th place. Turkmenistan is at the very bottom of the ranking as the country with the slowest Internet in the world. It takes more than 22 hours and 34 minutes to download a 5 GB file in this country.
