Hungary ready to increase authorized capital of Hungarian-Kyrgyz Fund

The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov held talks with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban. Press service of the head of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The parties discussed topical areas of Kyrgyz-Hungarian bilateral cooperation.

Sadyr Japarov noted that Kyrgyzstan highly appreciates cooperation with Hungary, reminding that the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations will be marked in 2022.

The head of state noted the great potential for cooperation in the economic sphere.

Sadyr Japarov invited Viktor Orban to pay a state visit to the republic and suggested holding the second meeting of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian Strategic Council under the chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan.

In turn, Viktor Orban noted that Hungary pays special attention to cooperation with Kyrgyzstan and expressed interest in expanding Kyrgyz-Hungarian cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

The Prime Minister stressed that the authorized capital of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian Development Fund is still small, but it will be a good help for the implementation of joint projects.

Hungary is ready to increase the authorized capital of the fund to support Kyrgyz and Hungarian entrepreneurs.

Viktor Orban also noted that Hungary supports the initiatives and proposals of the Kyrgyz side put forward within the UN.

Touching upon cooperation in the educational sphere, Sadyr Japarov and Viktor Orban agreed that Kyrgyz students studying at Hungarian universities would become a bridge for the rapprochement of the two peoples.

The President of Kyrgyzstan and the Prime Minister of Hungary also agreed to continue active interaction to build up bilateral relations for the benefit of the two countries.
