A number of departments have been renamed and reorganized in Kyrgyzstan. A decree of the Cabinet of Ministers, signed by its head Akylbek Japarov, says.
The State Penitentiary Service under the Ministry of Justice is now called the Service for the Execution of Punishments under the Ministry of Justice.
The State Property Management Fund was transferred from the Ministry of Investments to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.
The Department for Bankruptcy Affairs under the Ministry of Investment became the Bankruptcy Affairs Department under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.
The following departments were also renamed:
- The Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Regional Development — into the Ministry of Agriculture;
- The Ministry of Energy and Industry — into the Ministry of Energy;
- The Ministry of Investments — into the state institution «Agency for Investments and Development of the Kyrgyz Republic» with its transfer under the jurisdiction of the Cabinet of Ministers;
- The State Committee on Ecology and Climate — into the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision;
- The State Financial Intelligence Service under the Cabinet of Ministers — into the State Financial Intelligence Service under the Ministry of Finance;
- The Center for Legal Representation under the Cabinet of Ministers — into the Center for Legal Representation under the Ministry of Justice;
- The Institute for Economic Policy Research under the Ministry of Economy and Finance — into the state institution «Institute for Economic Policy Research of the Kyrgyz Republic»;
- The State Agency for Antimonopoly Regulation under the Ministry of Economy and Finance — into the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce;
- The State Service for Regulation and Supervision over the Financial Market under the Ministry of Economy and Finance — into the Service for Regulation and Supervision over the Financial Market under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce;
- The Kyrgyz Accreditation Center under the Ministry of Economy and Finance — into the Accreditation Center under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.
A number of other agencies and departments have been also renamed.
