The Foreign Affairs Ministry of Kyrgyzstan commented on the information about the death of a citizen in the United States.
«According to the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the United States, information has been received about the death of a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, 28. According to preliminary information, the cause of his death was multiple gunshot wounds inflicted by Pennsylvania police on October 5, 2021.
The diplomatic mission promptly sent a request to the Department of State and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to clarify all the circumstances of the case. A response is currently expected,» the statement says.
Relatives of the deceased plan to send his body to Kyrgyzstan as the necessary documents are ready.
«The embassy, in turn, is in constant contact with the brother of the deceased, and also provides the necessary assistance in drawing up the relevant documents within its competence. This issue is under the special control of the ministry and the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the United States,» the ministry added.
As it was reported, the Kyrgyzstani worked in the state of Pennsylvania as a truck driver. According to some reports, he hijacked a truck of the company where he worked, because he was not paid the money.
The company reported the hijacking to the police. The truck was found on one of the parking lots. However, the truck driver refused to leave it and tried to ram the police cars. An exchange of gun fire began, as a result of which the driver was shot and killed.
