Torugart and Irkeshtam checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the state border will be temporarily closed from January 24 to January 30. Public Relations Department of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The border will be closed at the initiative of the Chinese side in connection with celebration of the National Spring Festival (New Year).
Passage of persons, vehicles and goods will resume on January 31.
