Material damage caused during the riots on the night of August 9 amounted to 109,826 soms. Press service of the Bishkek City Administration reported.
This is a preliminary sum, because the amount of damage to buses is still being calculated. According to the Director of the Bishkek Passenger Motor Transport Company Nurlan Koychubakov, the condition of three buses is deplorable. In total, 29 buses were damaged.
The amount of damage to broken metal fences on Ala-Too Square is 30,200 soms, 25 linear meters of fencing along Shabdan Baatyr Street — 7,500, organic glass on the square — 53,536.
«Three euro containers cost us 4,680 soms, flowerpots — 6,840, annual flowers — 2,640, one cubic meter of paving stones on the sidewalks — 930. Garbage disposal cost the City Administration 3,500 soms,» the City Administration reported.
