Kyrgyzstan seeks public health cooperation with XUAR

Deputy Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakytbek Kadyraliev participated in the Xinjiang Silk Road Health Forum.

According to the Ministry of Health’s press center, Bakytbek Kadyraliev delivered a report.

«Today, our task is to build a system in which every patient, regardless of where they live, can receive vital medical care in a timely manner. Modern healthcare is not measured by the number of buildings or equipment, but by how quickly a patient with a stroke, heart attack, or other emergency gets to specialists. That is why Kyrgyzstan is consistently developing a unified patient routing system, strengthening vascular centers, and implementing modern approaches to organizing emergency medical care. Our main goal is to save as many lives as possible,» he said.

During the forum, the Deputy Minister reviewed the activities of leading medical institutions specializing in genetics and infectious diseases, as well as the simulation center of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

Potential for expanding cooperation in public health, medical education, scientific research, and professional exchanges was discussed.

The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic views the development of international partnerships as an important area for strengthening the national healthcare system, improving the quality of medical care, and implementing advanced medical practices.
