Big brass concert with participation of a conductor from Germany Waldemar Stockert will take place in Bishkek. Ex-president of Lyons Club Bishkek Zamirbek Kerimbekov told at a press conference.
«Lions Club is the largest social movement. It has existed for more than 100 years and has offices in 200 countries. It was established in Kyrgyzstan 8 years ago,» he noted.
Zamirbek Kerimbekov added that it was not the first concert, which was held by German musicians and they were always sold out.
«There are rehearsals in the conservatory, master classes, which will culminate in a big concert. Admission is free,» he said.
The Grand Brass Band of the Bishkek City Hall and the Kyrgyz National Conservatory will take part in the concert.
Vice President of Lions Club Bishkek Darya Musina added that representatives of Lions Club Amorbach (Germany) will donate special equipment for an orchestra and musical instruments to the conservatory and the music boarding school.
The concert will take place on March 6 at 19.00 in the Great Hall of the Kyrgyz National Conservatory.
