Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov will visit Kyrgyzstan on December 18.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the second meeting of the Council of Heads of Border Regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Authorized Representatives of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in border areas will be held in Osh city under the chairmanship of the Prime Ministers of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The first meeting of the Council of Heads of the border regions of the two countries took place in March in Fergana.
The total length of the border between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan is 1,378 kilometers, 85 percent of them have been agreed.
