Judge of Sverdlovsky District Court of Bishkek Doolotbek Turdukozhoyev was dismissed by order of the President Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
The Prosecutor General’s Office informed 24.kg news agency that the Disciplinary Commission of the Council of Judges agreed with recommendation of the Prosecutor General’s Office Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic on bringing Doolotbek Turdukozhoev to criminal liability under the article: abuse of office of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the end of December 2016, Doolotbek Turdukozhoyev tried to exempt a citizen of the People’s Republic of China, who had been previously wanted, from criminal prosecution. Then the Prosecutor General’s Office wanted to open a case against the judge, but the Council of Judges did not give consent to this.
