The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev took part in the ceremony of laying a capsule at the construction site of Silk Way industrial and logistics park in Alamedin district of Chui region of Kyrgyzstan.
At least 112 factories for the production of clothing, textiles and footwear will be built in the park creating over 35,000 jobs.
«Most of the funds raised for the large-scale project are investments of local businessmen. They were supported by investors from China and Turkey. In general, $ 200 million will be spent on the construction of the industrial and logistics park,» said Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev.
The project is implemented by ALPHA CARGO, Opal Mining Co. Ltd, YbHD Logistic Group and Saphire Artstone Group.
It is planned to complete construction in mid-2020. One of the basic objects of the project will be the administrative and exhibition complex. In addition, the concept of the industrial park includes creation of a professional educational institution for training of specialists in the garment and textile industry.
