Kyrgyzstan and Tatarstan to create joint industrial park

Kyrgyzstan and Tatarstan will create a joint industrial park. Technopolis Khimgrad and the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on the creation of a joint industrial park. It plans to develop energy, non-ferrous metallurgy and other industries.

The document was signed by the General Director of Technopolis Khimgrad Airat Gizzatullin and Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Iskender Asylkulov.

The official noted that the country is interested in developing industrial cooperation with Russia. Currently, the priority is the creation of technological and industrial parks.

It is planned to develop the following areas in the industrial park: energy sector, non-ferrous metallurgy, production of building materials, pharmaceuticals, electronics, instrument manufacture, household appliances and mechanical engineering.

The legislation of Kyrgyzstan provides for the provision of tax preferences to residents of the industrial park within the framework of investment agreements, the press service of the technopolis reports.
