Zere Asylbek still receives murder threats from unknown people for her video clip Kyz. The singer told 24.kg news agency that she received messages with threats to kill her regularly.
«I wrote a statement to the police, the district police officer registered it and promised to sort it out,» Zere Asylbek said.
The singer noted that she had a positive view of support in social networks. «This is also a reaction, and I perceive it normally,» Zere Asylbek said.
The police department for Chui region explained to 24.kg news agency that an inspection was being conducted.
The video for the song Kyz caused a wide public resonance. Most of the users of social networks supported Zere Asylbek. However, there were those who began to threaten the singer, being outraged that the girl sings that Kyrgyz women are told what to do and how to do, and also that she appeared in the video in her underwear, deliberately demonstrating it.
