All construction and installation works on streets in Bishkek will end in October. The head of the Capital Construction Department Nurlan Eshenbaev said at the board meeting of the Bishkek City Administration.
He reminded that road repairs were carried out within the framework of two projects. Preparation for the second phase of the project Development of the Bishkek City Road Network is ongoing, a protocol with the Chinese side is at the signing stage.
According to Vice Mayor of Bishkek, Bakytbek Dyushembiev, about 2,500 objects - capital, temporary and light — have been dismantled during the implementation of the projects. Lengthy legal proceedings will be on some of them.
Bakytbek Dyushembiev said that works on Leo Tolstoy Street and in the Botanical Garden area would be carried out in 2019. «We must take a final decision on them. We are negotiating with the Chinese side,» he said.
